Its story

In Carina burns a B-type star, blue-white and fiercely hot, many times more radiant than the Sun. Its light began its journey seven and a half centuries ago, when Christian kingdoms were advancing across the Iberian Peninsula and Marco Polo returned from Cathay with impossible tales. That same light —faithful to its blue ember— now reaches the night with the calm of one who has crossed entire eras.
