Its story
In the heart of Carina, an orange giant glows with the warmth of a furnace slowly cooling. Its light departed around 1633, the same year Galileo was summoned to Rome for defending that the Earth turned around the Sun. Cooler yet far larger than our star, it has already exhausted the hydrogen in its core and drifts toward the great endings of the cosmos.
