Theta Geminorum is an A3 blue-white giant 189 light-years away, set apart from Castor and Pollux yet aligned with them in the classical drawing of the Twins. To the eye she looks solitary, though catalogs ring her with five faint visual companions, all too dim to disturb her main light. She is the steady glow on which the silence of the constellation rests.
