Its story

Psi-3 Aurigae is a blue giant about 1,371 light-years away, in the Charioteer, a B8 III star that radiates one thousand six hundred times the Sun's light from only four times its radius. It spins at 118 km/s, and at more than thirteen thousand degrees on its surface it belongs to that lineage of hot stars that live fast, burn their mass violently and leave few generations behind.
