Its story
In Monoceros, that discreet constellation tucked between the great winter figures, shines a yellow-white star of F type. Its light set out one hundred and ten years ago, when the First World War was rewriting the map of Europe and changing the idea of the twentieth century forever. Slightly hotter than the Sun, it offers that clear, almost pale-gold tone characteristic of F stars. It is a serene point in a corner often overlooked of the winter sky, hidden between Orion and the two dogs faithfully following him.
