Variable starIts story
Variable and hot in the Greater Dog, its B class breathes with a shifting brightness, 1,102 light years away. The light crossing tonight's atmosphere set off around the year 924, deep in the Early Middle Ages, when Abd al-Rahman III was consolidating the Caliphate of Córdoba. A blue pulsation whose echo has been travelling for over a thousand years before touching the human eye.
