Eta-1
Its story
Eta-1 Doradus is a quiet white star 322 light-years away in Dorado, the Goldfish—the constellation whose backdrop holds the Large Magellanic Cloud and the Tarantula Nebula. Though it belongs to the Milky Way, it shares its sky coordinates with one of the most studied corners of the nearby cosmos: every glance toward it also brushes, far beyond, that satellite galaxy.
