Star profile
HIP 27890
What is HIP 27890
Some 85.6 light-years away, within the quiet Dorado of southern skies, a K-type star pulses in patient amber. Its light set out when the first radio telescopes were beginning to listen to the silence of the universe and the hydrogen atom started revealing the hidden geography of the Milky Way. A serene candle in a constellation few seek and almost none quote.
