Its story
In Columba —the dove Noah set loose after the flood— shines an A-type star, white and hot, more luminous than our Sun. Its light set out at the dawn of the eighteenth century, when corsairs cut across the Caribbean and the first scientific academies were founded in Europe. Three centuries later, that light —clean, with no witnesses— completes its long journey above the horizon.
