Psi-1
Variable starIts story
Psi-1 Orionis is a variable blue-white B-type star more than a thousand light-years away, set in the hunter's shield itself. It belongs to the vast Orion stellar complex, one of the most active star-forming regions near the Solar System, where molecular clouds spawn massive, short-lived suns. Its young, energetic light is only a visible echo of the enormous galactic factory that hides behind the belt of Orion.
