Its story
An anonymous orange point in Orion, lost among the hunter's more celebrated stars. Its light has been travelling for 486 years —it set off as Pizarro entered Cajamarca and the course of American history changed— and still settles onto our telescopes. A K-type cooler and larger than the Sun, a golden giant that adds a warm temperature to a constellation dominated by blue giants.
