Its story
Upsilon-1 Eridani is an orange giant of type K0, swollen to about seven times the Sun's radius and burning slightly cooler than our own star. It sits at 127 light-years along the winding course of the celestial river Eridanus, its amber tone standing apart from the blue youngsters that share the constellation. An old flame on a river of stars.
