Its story
46 Tauri is a yellow-white F-type star set near the Hyades cluster, that family of stars tracing the face of the Bull. Slightly hotter than the Sun, it shines relatively close, just over a hundred light-years away. Its hue places it on the intermediate step between intense white and the solar yellow.
