Its story
Along the winding river of Eridanus glows a yellow cousin of our Sun, a mature G-type whose light set out roughly 210 years ago, when Lord Byron was drafting his Venetian verses and the Barbary corsairs were signing their final treaties. Its warm tone echoes our own star, yet drifts far away within the celestial stream once said to spill from Orion's feet. Looking at it feels like glimpsing an older Sun, daydreaming in another reach of the galaxy.
