Its story

In Cassiopeia burns a blue star, far away and fierce. Its light took more than eleven hundred years to cross the void —it set out around the year 905, when the Tang dynasty had just fallen in China and the Christian kingdoms were pushing north of Iberia. Its surface seethes at temperatures that humble the Sun, and its lavender hue scorches a precise spot in the northern sky.
