Its story
In Cassiopeia, whose recognizable W dominates the northern skies, shines this orange K-type star, evolved and warm in hue. Its light set out 200 years ago, around 1824, when Beethoven was premiering his Ninth Symphony with the «Ode to Joy» in Vienna. Cooler than the Sun yet clearly larger, it embodies the golden palette of mature giants, a serene flame blending into the radiance of the constellation's famous angular silhouette.
