Its story
In the modest southern constellation of Indus — the indigenous figure sketched by Bayer at the close of the sixteenth century — keeps watch a white F-type sun, slightly hotter than our own. Its 174 light-years set out while Darwin was silently maturing his notebooks on the origin of species, not yet daring to publish them. Its light, a serene traveler, illustrates how slow revolutions of thought can sometimes be.
