Its story
Aquarius is the patch of sky where ancient Mediterranean civilisations placed the origin of the great rains. There pulses this K-class orange, distant, at almost one thousand five hundred light-years. Its light set out around the year 550, while Justinian I governed Byzantium and completed the drafting of the Corpus Iuris Civilis. Fifteen centuries later, that small coppery dot at last finishes an immense journey across the Milky Way.
