An orange K-class variable in Pegasus, 292 light-years away: the light arriving tonight broke loose around 1734, in the heart of the Enlightenment, when Voltaire was publishing his «Lettres philosophiques» and reason aimed to put the world in order. Its brightness shifts almost imperceptibly, the slow pulse of a giant breathing without haste.
