Its story
At 692 light-years, in the small Lizard traced by Hevelius in the seventeenth century, shines an orange giant whose light set out at the beginning of the fourteenth century, amid the famines and plague that reshaped medieval Europe. Its atmosphere, cooler than the Sun's, lends it a soft amber tone. It inhabits a minor constellation, nearly forgotten by popular cartographers but present in professional charts.
