In Pegasus, the winged horse, a yellow G-type star recalls the Sun in tone and chemistry, though it stands 110 light-years off. Its light departed around 1916, the year Einstein published the definitive version of General Relativity from a Berlin at war. A little over a century later, that same yellow brightness crosses the very space his equations had begun to describe.
