What is Rho 2 Cepheus
Rho-2 Cephei is a white A-type star in the constellation of King Cepheus, the patient figure encircling the north celestial pole that barely sets below the horizon for northern observers. Its discreet brightness requires a clean sky to appreciate, but its light, having set out 245 years ago, crosses space without pause — faithful to the mechanics that rule all stars.

Rho 2 Cepheus lies in the northern celestial hemisphere. It is visible to the naked eye under a dark sky. Its best month of the year is November: the Sun sits at the opposite point of the sky and the star culminates around midnight.
