Its story

ε Indi is one of the closest stars to our Sun: barely 11.8 light-years away, a trifling distance on the cosmic scale. An orange K-type dwarf, she hosts at least a pair of brown dwarfs —objects halfway between a star and a giant planet— and a planet candidate detected by her gravitational tug. She is one of the most fascinating neighbouring stellar systems.
