Its story
Within the southern crane, 654 light-years away, glows an orange K-type star that has already journeyed far through its life. Its light set out when the kingdoms of Castile and Portugal were preparing voyages toward an unknown Atlantic, around the 14th century. Cooler and larger than the Sun, its dense atmosphere shifts its light toward amber, a colour of tempered forge in full calm.
