Hot blue starIts story
70 Cygni is a hot B-type blue star 1305 light-years away, one of the most distant lights still readable by the naked eye in the eastern wing of the Swan. The photon arriving tonight set out when the Byzantine Empire still called itself the Eastern Roman Empire. It shines with the severe blue of young, massive stars condemned to short and intense lives.
