Its story
14 Arietis is a yellow-white F-type star about 289 light-years away, in the head of the Ram. Its light —hotter and more energetic than the Sun s— set out late in the eighteenth century, when Europe s natural philosophers were mapping the sky with ever sharper telescopes. It now arrives almost on cue, a pale spark in one of the most ancient corners of the zodiac.
