Its story

In the discreet Ophiuchus, the serpent-bearer crossing the ecliptic, beats an orange sun —a K-type star just 17 light-years away that shares its path with a companion invisible to the naked eye. Its light set out at the beginning of this century, when the first confirmed exoplanets were starting to fill the catalogues. Cooler than our Sun yet very near, it offers a calm, homely amber glow, almost like a candle lit on the other side of the room.
