Fawaris

Hot blue starIts story
Fawaris traces one of the feathers stretching the wing of the Swan over the broad river of the Milky Way, where Cygnus seems to glide southward along the galactic stream. It is a hot, white-blue star about 165 light-years away: its cool hue contrasts with the nearby amber of Aljanah on the opposite wing. The light gathered by tonight's observer began its journey around 1861, in the opening months of the American Civil War.
