Its story

Iota-2 Cygni is a young, hot white A-type star drifting toward our solar system at about twenty kilometres per second. It carries nearly twice the Sun's mass and four times its radius, shining with thirty-five solar luminosities. It belongs to Cygnus, the great northern cross that glides each summer along the Milky Way like a bird in full flight.
