Its story
In the Swan, Cygnus, shines a yellow-white type-F star just 81 light-years away. Its light set out in the mid-twentieth century, when the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed in Paris and the world tried to rebuild itself after the war. Slightly hotter than the Sun, its pearly hue vibrates between the wings of the celestial bird —a glow almost neighbourly on the stellar scale.
