Its story
43 Cygni is a white F-type star only 122 light-years away, among the relatively close members of the Swan. Hotter and faster-burning than the Sun, its light left around 1904, in the years special relativity was being published. It glows quietly across one of the densest star fields in the sky, crossed by the dark dust of the Great Cygnus Rift.
