Its story
Within the small Lyre, neighbour of bright Vega, beats a yellow G-type star 441 light-years away. Its light set out when Philip II was preparing the Invincible Armada, in 1585. Similar in colour to the Sun but already swollen into a giant, its surface hovers near 5,500 degrees and its luminosity dwarfs that of the star which lights our days, hinting at what our own Sun will one day become.
