Its story
Among the feathers of Aquila, the eagle, shines a yellow G-type star 338 light-years away. Its warm light set out as Louis XIV inaugurated the palace of Versailles and moved his court there. A distant relative of the Sun but older, it began centuries ago to swell and shine brighter, foreshadowing a fate that one day awaits the star that warms our own days.
