What is HIP 92822

Within the winding Draco —the constellation that coils around the northern celestial pole— shines this yellow-white star some one hundred and eighty light years away. Its light set out in the years when the United States was living its civil war, when an entire country was being redefined in blood and fire. It arrives here, indifferent to the human divisions that watched it leave.
