Dziban B

Its story

Dziban B is part of a binary system in Draco, 75.2 light-years away, a yellow class-G star similar in colour to our Sun but engaged in a gravitational dance with its twin Dziban. The name comes from the Arabic «al-dhi'ban», the two wolves, a veteran image that saw in this stellar pair two predators stalking among the curves of the celestial dragon. Few visual binaries have a name this literal: two points, two wolves, a single shared hunt.
