Its story
107 Herculis is a white A-type star 263 light-years away, set in summer Hercules. It glows at the limit of what an unaided human eye can catch under clean skies, almost an accomplice of the dark. It lies in one of the most celebrated skies of the northern summer, where amateurs hunt down the globular cluster M13.
