Its story
In Hercules, the hero of the twelve labours, shines a white A-class star whose light has been travelling for over seven and a half centuries: it set out as Europe was entering the worst decade of the Black Death and entire empires were falling. Hotter and more luminous than the Sun, it gives off a crisp, almost bluish glow, true to young stars that burn in haste. It quietly accompanies the hero's body, a reminder that the scars of human history are a single blink in its stellar time.
