Its story
93 Herculis burns orange in the silhouette of the hero, a K-type giant whose colour betrays an atmosphere already swollen and cooled. Its light has been travelling for more than six centuries: it left the surface before Constantinople fell. Part of the secondary troop of Hercules that yields only to genuinely dark skies, its golden gleam stands against the hotter blue of its neighbours.
