Hot blue starIts story
In Serpens burns a blue B-type star, far hotter and more massive than the Sun. Its light took roughly 600 years to cross the void: it set out in the mid-15th century, when Gutenberg was printing the Bible with movable type and Constantinople fell to the Ottomans, redrawing the map of the Mediterranean. A blue flame, brief and fierce, crosses the 21st century from high in the summer sky.
