Its story
In Serpens —the only constellation split in two by the sage Ophiuchus— shines an orange K-type star. Its light has been travelling some three hundred ninety-six years: it set out when Galileo was being condemned in Rome for defending the heliocentric system. Cooler and more mature than the Sun, it glows in a tranquil amber tone. A light contemporary with that trial, still crossing space while we look back at it.
