Its story

In the southern altar of Ara, a white A-type star shines 802 light-years away. Its light set out in the depths of the Middle Ages, when troubadours were wandering the roads of Provence singing courtly love. Hotter and more luminous than the Sun, its intense white recalls the moon's reflection on polished marble. Faint to the naked eye, it is a silent beacon of the southern hemisphere crossing centuries to reach us tonight.
