Hot blue starIts story
28 Herculis shines with blue light at 386 light-years, a B-type star in the demigod hero of the sky. Blue indicates a violently hot surface, much more energetic than the Sun's —ultraviolet that escapes into space. Hercules is vast and rich in mythological history, and this blue flame is among the youngest within its silhouette. An almost blue-white flash among the hero's stars.
