Xi-1
Its story
Xi-1 Lupi is part of a multiple system in the Wolf: three stars bound by gravity 138 light-years from the Sun, led by a hot, blue-white pair that betrays itself at the eyepiece. The Lupus region, neighbour to Centaurus, hosts many young systems born only tens of millions of years ago; Xi-1 is one of its cleaner pieces.
