Its story
In Boötes, the celestial herdsman who watches over the Great Bear, this orange K-type giant shines. Its light began the journey around 1363, when the Battle of Lake Poyang was fought in China, considered the largest naval battle of the medieval world. The pale orange of K-type stars is best appreciated in contrast, beside whiter stars: then that warm quality emerges, the one that distinguishes the mature bodies of the sky.
