Its story
Beneath the southern skies, within the constellation Lupus, burns a yellow type G star —akin to the Sun but older and more luminous. Its light set out some 369 years ago, when Velázquez was painting Las Meninas in the Madrid alcázar and the Dutch ruled the seas with their merchant fleets. It now arrives as a golden whisper, serene among the wolf's claws, indifferent to the Baroque splendor that saw it depart.
