Its story
Sunk in the southern depths of Centaurus, this yellow type-G star could be an elder sister of the Sun, sharing its mild and golden temperament. Its light set out 182 years ago, when Charles Darwin was finishing «On the Origin of Species» and the world was preparing to see life with new eyes. It has crossed the interstellar ocean while theories and revolutions unfolded beneath its distant, indifferent glow.
