Its story
In the discreet southern Compass shines at 248.2 light years a yellowish-white class F star. Its light set out around 1778, while the European Enlightenment was still in the wake of the final volumes of Diderot and d'Alembert's «Encyclopédie». A star slightly hotter than the Sun, cream-toned, almost hidden in one of the smallest constellations in the sky.
