Its story
Within the silent celestial Giraffe glows a G-type yellow star 286 light-years from Earth. Its light set out around 1740, when Bach was composing his last great works and Europe was preparing for the full Enlightenment. Akin in colour and temperature to the Sun yet larger and brighter, it is an elder sister to the star that warms us every morning.
