Its story
In Ursa Major, that great celestial wheel which has oriented northern peoples since remote times, shines an orange K-type star some 345 light-years away. Its light set out when Louis XIV was ordering the building of Versailles and Cassini's telescopes were sharpening their gaze upon the planets. Cooler than the Sun, it offers a coppery, modest brilliance, hidden among the better-known embers of the celestial Wagon.
