Its story
In the modest cup of Crater, 445 light years away, a white A-class star rests its clean brightness. The light peering over the horizon tonight took leave around 1580, when Drake was completing his circumnavigation of the globe and returning to Plymouth. Hydrogen-white colour, no known companions, no variability — a crystalline note sustained on the rim of the celestial cup.
